When walking into your appointment at Circle City Brows, you can expect the procedure to take about two hours. First, your brow area will be numbed with a cream. Then, your brows are measured, drawn on, checked, and double-checked. A pigment color is also selected and all of your questions are answered. You will be asked to finish a bit of paperwork as well. Once these first steps are taken care of, the process of applying the eyebrows takes about one hour. At the end of your appointment, you will be provided with post-care instructions and tips.
Before your appointment, we ask that you refrain from consuming alcohol for 24 hours before the procedure. Additionally, we would like for you to limit your caffeine intake prior to your appointment. Please do not take Aspirin, Ibuprofen, or Fish Oil for 24 hours before your treatment. If you are pregnant, you are not allowed to receive microblading.
After your appointment, there are steps to follow to receive the best results possible. Microbladed eyebrows require a dry heal, meaning you must limit the amount of water that your brows come into contact with for a few days after the procedure. To maintain moisture on your brows, we will provide you with an aftercare ointment that comes with application instructions. For the best results, we suggest you avoid soaps, facial cleansers, and makeup on the brow area until the skin is healed and smooth. Please use common sense when it comes to post-care tips and strive to protect your brow area.
